Support the League of Historic American Theatres

The League of Historic American Theatres, Inc., a non-profit, 501(c)(3) membership association, is a professional network dedicated to sustaining America's historic theatres for the benefit of their communities and future generations. In addition to income derived from dues-paying members and generated by programs, the League relies on the generous support of sponsors and donors to provide programs and services for improving historic theatres, their businesses and their communities.

Membership dollars only account for 40% of the League's total budget. When you make a donation to the League, we are able to provide better programs and do more outreach within our industry without having to increase membership dues.

Through its Educational Fund, Annual Fund, and Tribute Fund; the League receives financial support from individual donors as well as corporations, foundations, and government agencies.

  • Gifts to the Educational Fund are used to help theatres who otherwise can't afford to attend the LHAT National or Regional Conference. Additionally, it provides funding to underwrite these educational programs which keep them affordable for all League members.
  • Gifts to the Annual Fund strengthen LHAT's resources for improving historic theatres, their businesses and their communities.
  • Gifts to the Tribute Fund are made in honor of or in memory of someone special. All donations will be used to support the continued mission and programs of the League for the benefit of its members.
