New Format and Content Focus! LHAT is honored to partner with The Compass Group to host a regional conference in Baltimore focusing on historic theatre fundraising. Philanthropy doesn’t happen on its own. You need to create the right environment for it to thrive for maximum impact. In this one-day conference focused entirely on the keys to effective fundraising, you’ll learn from the fundraising experts at Compass about what they call “engineering philanthropy”—putting the foundational elements into place to support your success. Whether you’re a seasoned fundraiser or just starting out, this convening will offer practical insights, innovative ideas, and networking opportunities to help you secure the support needed to meet your theatre’s goals.
Registration will open and more details will be posted soon about the host hotel, conference schedule, content and presenters. The Compass Group will present all day on Thursday, November 14th, but please plan to arrive on Wednesday afternoon, for the conference kickoff, which will include introductions and networking with the LHAT board and staff and Compass team members. There will also be a special presentation of the popular "The Power of the Historic Theatre" by LHAT President & CEO Ken Stein.
