Rick Mone is Vice President of Facilities for The Shubert Organization in New York City where he oversees the operation and continuous improvement of a portfolio of historic theatres. He previously served as a Project Manager at Hudson Scenic Studio and later led Shubert’s Engineering Operations Department during the COVID shutdown. Over 21 years at Hudson Scenic, Rick managed facilities, scenery, and show automation projects for clients spanning Broadway, theme parks, casinos, and film. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Technical Operations at Production Arts Lighting, where the engineering and customer service excellence of his colleagues taught him how superior technical work in entertainment empowers artists to achieve inspired creativity by bringing together rationalists and dreamers.
