Lesa is a registered architect (NCARB) with significant historic preservation expertise. She authored New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission’s Permit Application Guide. With proven ability to secure complex / sensitive approvals by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission and for Federal and State Historic Tax Credits, she has 15-plus years experience in providing architectural services for various scales of existing and historic buildings. Lesa believes in continual teaching and learning through projects with colleagues. Lesa works for the Nederlander Organization where, among other things, she was the Project Architect and Preservation Architect for the Palace Theater lift and rehabilitation, a $2 billion development that included a $50 million rehabilitation of a landmark Broadway theatre, located within the heart of Times Square. The historic Palace Theatre was lifted 30 feet to make way for ground floor retail space, including all new front of house and back of house spaces. Lesa has degrees from Texas A&M University and Lawrence Technological University.
