Not only is Boston one of the oldest and most significant cities, but The Boston Park Plaza Hotel itself is rich in history. Excellent businessman and hotelier E. M. Statler proposed the creation of "The Hotel Statler" in order to ensure a constant flow of revenue into the city. During the Great Depression the hotel industry suffered quite a deal, but this hotel was a survivor. The Boston Park Plaza Hotel has been the chosen hotel by American Presidents, celebrities and international corporations for the past 78 years.
E. M. Statler, the creator of The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers , chose what was in 1922 known as Providence Street, due to the great "location, location, location." Now conveniently situated at 64 Arlington Street, the historic hotel is in walking distance of The Theatre District, The State House, Freedom Trail and Beacon Hill. The hotel is adjacent to The Boston Common and the trendy shops, diverse restaurants and fine art galleries lining the world-renowned Newbury Street.
Visitors are happy to find that the hotel is conveniently located just three miles from Logan International Airport and is easily accessible to all of Boston's public transportation systems including Back Bay Station and subway lines. Click for Directions.
