 September 7, 2005 -- The LHAT Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Fran Holden has been appointed Executive Director of the international, not-for-profit organization.
Holden is a nationally recognized arts leader, grants-maker, presenter and educator known for her exemplary management and development of national, regional, statewide and local arts organization programs. Her appointment to the leadership of LHAT reflects the organization's emphasis on broad, inclusive participation of membership and building of new partnerships; the provision of a full range of services and resources for operating historic theatres; and increased visibility for the role historic theatres play in the cultural and economic vitality of our communities.
"Fran has a solid theatre background, and brings extensive experience, vision, and strategic thinking in community cultural planning, fundraising, and professional development programs that will move LHAT forward," remarks Dulcie Gilmore, President of LHAT's Board of Directors and Director of Theatres of Chicago's Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority.
Holden comments, "I look forward to working with League members, promoting cultural engagement, community revitalization and economic development in their communities."

You should contact the operations coordinator if you have questions regarding advertising, placing job bank postings, using broadcast email services and the LHAT-CHAT member listserv, as well as about logistics for conference and regional seminar planning. The Operations Coordinator should also be consulted regarding any questions related to accounts receivable and payable.

Feel free to contact Tisha if you have any questions related to your membership benefits, how to use the LHAT member network or if you are in need of special letters of support or other types of information or advice from your fellow members. She works in close contact each day with the Membership Services Director, so any inquiries and subsequent will be coordinated between both offices.
Please note: Tisha does not work out of the League's headquarters in Baltimore, rather from a satellite location in Florida, so the easiest way to reach her is by e-mail.
