Nicole has been working in the nonprofit sector for almost two decades, with a career in hospitality prior to that. For the past ten years, she has been leading the development efforts for the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center (The Z) in New Bedford, MA. her role has grown from Development Director to Vice President of Strategic Advancement. During her time at The Z, Nicole has grown contributed income, created strong fundraising systems, and led strategic planning. She has helped lead the planning of a (now) $37M restoration and renovation effort, leading the fundraising, branding, and advocacy campaign to support it. The funding for the project has leveraged public sources with private philanthropy and includes state and federal historic tax credits. In addition to the project, Nicole has also led the strategic planning process that transforms the organization into a more inclusive space for the next generation.
